The highest-priority rule is simple: do not present a guess as a fact. A wiki can be incomplete. It should not be confidently wrong.
Core principles
- Primary sources first. Publisher press material, official stores, first-party blogs and developer pages outrank summaries.
- Label uncertainty. “Confirmed”, “preview”, “unknown” and “historical” have specific meanings here.
- Do not manufacture experience. We do not claim to have completed a game that is not released.
- No page-count targets. A page exists when there is a real question or function to support.
- Correct in public. Material corrections change the page and the verification date.
Source hierarchy
- The publisher’s official press centre (Terminals.io), official press releases and first-party PlayStation.Blog posts.
- Official store pages and store metadata from Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store and Xbox.
- The developer’s own pages: Visuwyg’s itch.io page and portfolio.
- Named hands-on previews used for demo observations only, and always labelled as preview evidence.
- Community discussion used only as a lead, never as proof.
Every substantive page lists the sources used for its claims. The full register is on the source page.
Evidence labels
| Label | Meaning | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Confirmed | Stated by the developer, publisher, official store or first-party platform. | DERELIKT releases on PC and PS5 on 13 November 2026. |
| Preview | Observed in a named hands-on preview of the demo; may change in the final build. | Trimorph; rogue sentries; glyph inspection health cost. |
| Unknown | Not public. We do not invent an answer. | The exact unlock time or a full enemy stat sheet. |
| Historical | A past statement or target that no longer applies. | An earlier “later in 2026” release window before dates were split by platform. |
Dates and unlock times
A release date is only treated as real when it comes from the developer, publisher or an official platform. The site distinguishes a date from an unlock time. DERELIKT’s date is confirmed for PC and PS5; the hour is not. The countdown therefore uses local midnight as a date marker and says so visibly.
Store metadata can lag. Steam may show “2026” after the publisher has announced a specific date; we cite the dated announcement and note the discrepancy rather than silently choosing the more convenient value.
Assisted drafting and source checks
This project uses automated tools to help research, structure, translate and draft material. That is disclosed because readers deserve to know how a site is made. Automation does not override the evidence standard: game facts are checked against the linked sources, and no page claims hands-on experience that did not happen.
If a generated draft cannot be supported by a source, it is removed rather than rewritten to sound more confident.
Updates and corrections
The “last verified” date reflects an actual check of the sources, not a cosmetic freshness edit. Page content changes when:
- The publisher makes a new release, platform or demo announcement.
- A store changes its metadata or requirements.
- The full game makes a previously unknown mechanic testable.
- A reader supplies a valid primary-source correction.
To report an error, use the contact page and include the URL, the claim and the primary source. Corrections that change a substantive fact are reflected in the page’s updated date. We do not guarantee a response time.
Images and trademarks
Official screenshots are reproduced for identification, commentary and criticism. Copyright remains with Visuwyg and Hyperstrange. Images are credited in captions and file names describe their content. We do not use the official DERELIKT logo as our own site branding, and we do not copy another site’s layout or proprietary assets.
If you are a rights holder and want an image reviewed or removed, contact us with the URL and the basis of the request.
Advertising separation
There is currently no advertising. If ads are introduced, paid inventory will be labelled and will not influence rankings, recommendations, pages or tool results. Sponsored content, if ever accepted, will be clearly identified and kept outside the evidence-based guides.
